Barry E. McNamara, Ed.D., is Associate Professor of Education at Dowling College, NY, and an expert on teaching learning-disabled students. Francine J. McNamara, M.S.W., C.S.W., is a school counselor at Mill Neck Manor School for the Deaf, NY. She also conducts a private practice specializing in family counseling, individual counseling, and crisis intervention.
