About the author (1991)

Laudon is Professor of Information Systems at New York University's Stern Graduate School of Business. He holds a B.A. in economics and philosophy from Stanford University and a Ph.D. from Columbia University. His wife, Jane, and he have 2 daughters.

Laudon is a management consultant in the information systems area. She received her B.A. from Barnard College, her M.A. from Harvard University, and her Ph.D. from Columbia University. She and her husband, Kenneth, have two daughters, Erica & Elizabeth.
