This is a great story of three men who travelled from Detroit to Cape Horn, in a 1941 Plymouth sedan, at a time when there are few roads to be used. Their perseverance gets them through, but not without hundreds of obstacles to be overcome. Written mostly like a travelogue, there are many pictures and stories of experiences with the many peoples of the central and South American countries.
