About the author (1997)

John Wagner has written more Judge Dredd stories than any other 2000 AD contributor, and is responsible not only for co-creating the character (with artist Carlos Ezquerra) but also for such classic tales as Judge Death, The Apocalypse War, The Judge Child Quest and Necropolis. He is also the writer of such popular 2000 AD strips as Stronitum Dog and Robo-Hunter. His work also includes Batman, Boba Fett, The Last American and Button Man.
