3.5 stars really. The book meanders a bit and was hard to follow. He also has a love of Capital Letters that is funny. He almost lost me in the friendship chapter when he said True Friendship is rare among women. His chapters on The Knights Move and why he joined The Church are great. Read full review

Sheldon Vanauken (1914-1996) was the author of Gateway to Heaven, The Glittering Illusion, and Under the Mercy, the sequel to A Severe Mercy.
