1) The Barons

Great Book... All the Great bands and there's a lesser known band "The Rear Exit" with Michael Maxwell, which was really one of my favorite groups of that era. They had a hit called "Excitation" in England in 1968. They weren't huge but a very talented group. Michael Maxwell is still recording albums and has another due out soon.
You can check them out on a Comp CD called Crytalize Your Mind 1994 on YOUTUBE songs #6 "Excitation" @ 13.50 & #7" Miles Beyond"
