Though at times his writing style can be overly obtuse, this is an enjoyable read. Makes me want to find someone who I can crew for on a translantic. I look forward to reading his later book about his second crossing. Read full review

William F. Buckley Jr., the founder of the National Review and host of TVa (TM)s longest-running program, Firing Line, was the author of many works of nonfiction, as well as eleven novels. He died in 2008.
