It would have been nice if the author had added a 26th word to the word bank: "please." "Thank" and "you" are finally included on the last page, which was somewhat heartening. Read full review

About the author (2004)

Schulz is an elementary school teacher with a great love for animals. She often volunteers at a local animal shelter.

Ann Iosa lives in a small town in Connecticut with her husband and two children. She graduated from Paier School of Art in Connecticut and has illustrated many wonderful children's books.
