I first heard about this book in an interview that featured Anna Kendrick and Brittany Snow. I wanted to know what the fuss was all about, so I read the synopsis of this allegedly controversial book. Apparently it has detailed descriptions of sexual acts AND BDSM. As I read the excerpt, a vivid picture formed in my mind and questions keep popping. "How could BDSM be incorporated in a ROMANTIC story? How could it possibly contain love and romance in the first place? Is it really worth reading it just to have answers? Will it leave me with cringe worthy feelings? Will I still be the same if I read this?" I really, really, took the BDSM part seriously and with good reason - I possess a bachelor's degree in Psychology and am quite interested in Clinical and Counselling Psychology. I also have a rather dark take on BDSM.
It was months before I got a hold of an ebook version. I started reading this book and well, of course, if you want closure, you have to read the remaining 2 books.
Psych students should read this. I'd like to hear your take on this book.

Having read 50 Shades of Grey, also have just finished reading "Erotic Helen" by Dale Quentin, discovered the same author has also published poems, and currently reading, and extremely exhilarating, but personally found Erotic Helen is my first choice.

The writing may not be good but the storyline is perfect. Once you've started reading you just can't stop. Finished the 3 books in 4 days. And once I've read them all I was really missing these two intense characters. The book is not just about sex. There's romance, action, secrets and more to it :) I fell in love with this couple.
