About the author (1999)

Drawing upon lessons learned in founding her own herb business, Sandie Shores has created the conclusive guide for the herb entrepreneur in Growing and Selling Fresh-Cut Herbs. Established in 1985 in Rochester, Minnesota, her business was called Herb's Herbs, and she used her garden knowledge to supply thousands of potted plants (150 varieties) wholesale to nurseries, restaurants, supermarkets, and farmers' markets in her area. Sandie sold her business ten years later to write a book for others who are interested in beginning their own herb trade. Currently, Sandie is an author, speaker, and consultant specializing in commercial production of fresh-cut herbs. She lives in Zumbro Falls, Minnesota.
