About the author (1996)

Together, husband-and-wife gardening team Doc and Katy Abraham have more than 100 years of gardening experience and wisdom. Affectionately known as "Doc and Katy" for their syndicated Q&A column, "The Green Thumb," this couple have also been garden columnists for Consumer's Research and Nursery Business and are commercial testers of new flower, vegetable and fruit seeds. They are the authors of 10 gardening books, including the Storey title, Green Thumb Wisdom. They have also written the books, Green Thumb Garden Handboook, Green Thumb Book of Indoor Gardening, Houseplant Rx, How to Grow Plants from Seed, and Green Thumb Book of Fruits and Vegetables. The Abrahams live in Naples, New York.
