The translation of the Greek participial to English is very misleading. The Greek Text is the Textus Receptus (KJV) which is great, but dont trust the English interlinear translation of this book. Read full review

He is the associate editor of "The HarperCollins Dictionary of Religion, "serves on numerous professional editorial boards, and writes extensively in the area of ancient Judaism.
