This was not what I has hoping for, in that it read more like a AAA guide thank a real guidebook (eg no pictures, very short descriptions). On the upside, I really want to go to Acadia National Park now! Read full review

About the author (2010)

Paul Karr is an award-winning writer and editor and avid traveler. In addition to covering New England, he is the author of Frommer's Nova Scotia, New Brunswick & Prince Edward Island; Frommer's Maine Coast; and Vancouver & Victoria For Dummies, as well as a co-author of Frommer's New England and Frommer's Canada. He has also edited Frommer's guides to The Bahamas, Jamaica, London, Paris, San Antonio, and San Francisco; edited and updated Irreverent Guides to Rome, Vancouver, and Seattle; and written for The New York Times, Sierra, Sports Illustrated and Insight Guides to Austria, Montreal, Switzerland, and Vienna, among other places.
