This book provided a lot of information on the laser, and Ted Maiman's life as it was affected by his invention, including patent battles, making the laser, testing it, and the Japan Prize. It was a interesting read but it didn't give a good story. I reccomend it for any research project involving lasers,as it is a primary source with everything you would need to know about lasers.
