Just pick up this book from a local library.
pretty good !
even though it's an old book.
but the principles for home appliance hasn't changed for the last 100 years.
Fancy controls may have been added but the basics are still the same.
My electric range just broke down. I think I can fix it with this book. (I have not try yet) but i read a few pages and what the book was explaning makes perfect senses.
