About the author (2006)

Noted local historian Phil Brigandi is a native of Orange and has been researching the history of his hometown since 1975. He is the author of more than a dozen books, including Orange: The City aRound the Plaza, the first full-length history of Orange, and Orange County Place Names A to Z. This latest book features rare vintage images from the early years of Orange, gathered from more than a dozen public and private collections, including the authoras own files.
