Goldbeck is a practicing nutritionist and food educator who holds workshops for people with heart disease, diabetes, cancer, and obesity.

David Goldbeck is coauthor of eight food books with more than one million books in print. They include the best-selling, "Supermarket Handbook (Plume) and "American Wholefoods Cuisine" (Plume).
