One of the largest and most complex human services systems in Western nations has evolved to address the needs of people with developmental disabilities. Foxx is a research psychologist for the state of Illinois Department of Mental Health, affiliated with the Behavior Research Laboratory, Anna State Hospital. He teaches a course in child psychology at Southern Illinois University.
