She was America's darling: actress, producer, star of the golden age oftelevision. Her work on "The Dick Van Dyke Show" and "The Mary TylerMoore Show" garnered multiple Emmys, followed by critical acclaim for heracting on Broadway and in film. Now, in her witty, candid, heartbreakingautobiography, Mary Tyler Moore tells all, about...the Dick Van Dyke nobodyknows...Elvis, her sly, seductive co-star in" Change of Habit"...how CarlReiner taught her to cry while being funny...Robert Redford's confession aftercasting her in "Ordinary People"...about then-first Lady Betty Ford'sinebriated debut on "The Mary Tyler Moore Show", and years later, herphone call that saved Mary's life.

Mary spares nothing as she recounts her traumatic childhood, twofailed marriages, her own alcoholism, the tragic death of her son, and herthird, happy marriage to a cardiologist eighteen years her junior. Moving, inspiring, and brutally frank, "After All" will touch every reader's heartand soul.

The "New York Times" Bestseller

"Mesmerizing...Fans will love Moore's behind-the-scenes reminiscences".
-- "San Francisco Chronicle"

"One of the top ten books of the year"
-- "Entertainment Weekly"

"A scalding American memoir".
-- "The Washington Post"

" "After All", thank God, is not a typical celebrity autobiography...From[this] book alone, you can learn a lot about the art of comedy andacting...These insights and others place her book up there with my two favoritetheatrical autobiographies "The Long-Distance Runner" by Tony Richardsonand "The Moon's a Balloon" by David Niven".

Love Mary Richards...do not love Mary Tyler Moore. She comes across here as shallow, selfish, and a bit dumb. Read full review
