Ms. Briggs is creative with her creation of Mercy, her leading lady of the story. It is refreshing to have a character that is down to earth, tomboyish, and doesn't mind getting a little dirty. It doesn't hurt that there is a little of the supernatural thrown in but again Patricia doesn't disappoint her readers with the same stuff and when she did, she was able to add a whole new twist to keep readers engaged until the end.

Yes.....
I am a big fan of the House Of Night series and I was looking for another interesting read. I bought Silver born first because I caught it on sale at Walmart that was four days ago and I was hooked. I have bought the entire series Mercy Thompson is my newest favorite character.

4 of 5 stars for the Audible novel Bone Crossed: Mercedes Thompson #4. Fourth book in the series of 6 this novel returns focus to the vampires in the neighborhood with a little Fae magic blended-in. Mercedes still debates her fate with Adam and his pack of Werewolves. We do find out a few more bits of knowledge about the Fae “walking-stick” that keeps following Mercedes. Fun and easy on the brain, this novel was interesting and surprising. I do recommend it and will continue with the next in the series.

This book for me wasn't as good as the rest. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoyed the ride but there was one thing that annoyed me and I couldn't get over it enough to make me love this one. I don't ... Read full review

Bone Crossed is not on my top favorites list in this series. Actually, it is probably my least favorite. Mercy's mother pays an unexpected visit due to the rape and murder from the previous book. Ben ... Read full review
