These are the songs my mother love to sing and to hear in her life here on earth. You see she was borned in rural Mississpps. The seventh child to a share cropper. Jim Crow was deep. No free high school plus she was needed in the cotton field.... but through songs, prayer, faith in God after marrage ... she move to Los Angeles, Calif. She did day work for the rich to help her to take of her children. Songs she could feel and taste like your book she was able to guide her children
to attend school and college. Always honest a hard worker. After her children were adults with a degree or two she went to night school completed high school, nursing training, learned to drive a
car and a job with LA County at General hospital. Truely, I want Jesus to walk with me, was at the top of list of her songs ..... this book could have been write for her.....she died september 29, 2011, age 93.
Thank you for such a great book
