Of Love, Time and Places is Charles Madge's own selection, bringing back into print the published poems he stands by and giving us his later work for the first time. Charles Madge (1912-1996) and published his first collection of poetry in 1937, the year Mass Observation became a full- time occupation for him. His many publications include economic and sociological works.
