Please upload the full text of this work, a seminal work in human geography! Vidal de La Blache died in 1918, and this translation was produced in 1928 (in the US; it was published in 1918 in the UK). The translator, Harold Cresswell Brentnall, had passed away by 1956 (see memorial volume dedicated to him: http://www.worldcat.org/title/in-memoriam-harold-cresswell-brentnall/oclc/655477794), so the copyright on this volume expired 8 years ago at the latest.
Also, even without this definitive piece of evidence, Cresswell was translating the work of a French academic geographer in 1918 (96 years ago), had a law degree already in 1908 (according to the "Report of the Marlborough College Natural History Society" available in Google Books) and the most recent citation I can find for him is dated to 1949 (A Name at Stonehenge). Anyone can upload a scan of this book now, but it would be best if the full text was added by Google so that geographers across the English-speaking world can have immediate access to this classic book.
