In Monster Lunch we dine with Frankenstein, attend a burgoo and a birthday party, meet a grumpy garden dude and slurp hot zoop. Each poem is followed by an interview with the main character or fascinating facts about food. This collection of yummy, yucky, messy and hot rhyming stories is bursting with rhythmical fun.

About the author (2008)

Pat Skene is the author of several books for children, including award-winning "The Whoosh of Gadoosh" and new release "A Tale of Two Biddys." She has always had a love of storytelling. Growing up, her grandmother would sit with her for hours, spinning tales of fancy. It's no wonder when Pat left her corporate life as a bank vice-president, she became a story inventor. Pat keeps her imagination fed and watered in Oakville, Ontario Canada.

Graham Ross has grand plans for World domination through his illustrated inventions. Right now he's having a "ball" hanging out with Billy Sure, the next sure thing! Graham lives in a little log home in the woods with his inventive family, just outside of Merrickville, Canada.
