About the author (1998)

LEWIS R. AIKEN, PhD, received his doctor-ate in psychometrics and clinical psychology from the University of North Carolina. He has taught at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, the University of Illinois, the University of the Pacific, and most recently at Pepperdine University. Among his other books are Psychological Testing and Assessment, Ninth Edition; Assessment of Intellectual Functioning; Personality Assessment Methods and Practices; Assessment of Adult Personality; Rating Scales and Checklists; Questionnaires and Inventories; Human Development in Adulthood; Later Life; and Death, Dying, and Bereavement.
