About the author (2002)

Ray Giunta is the official chaplain of FEMA. Chaplain Ray has been on the scene for national crises such as the Oklahoma City bombing, the Columbine shooting, and at "ground zero" in New York City. He and his wife, Cathy, are founders and directors of We Care Ministries, an organization specializing in helping people deal with bereavement and grief. They teach the "Healing the Brokenhearted" seminars nationwide.
