About the author (1996)

An award-winning author of five children's books, Linda Arms White has always been fascinated by the natural elements of rustic architecture. Her own home design incorporates many of these elements. Through her research, she has found it takes creativity, imagination, and perseverance to construct a home with that rustic feel while staying within a budget and adhering to today's strict building codes. She and her husband, parents of four grown children, live in Colorado.
