An excellent book and a must read for anyone preparing for technical exams or airline interviews. In depth content of all subjects condensed in 11 chapters. The only flaw I would point out is a few spelling and grammatical errors and also the error as pointed out by another reviewer above. I highly recommend this book.

It's not a bad book by any means, and great in terms of it's depth and breadth of subject matter...
But make no mistake, there are more than a few errors in the book (eg lift formula components
being recorded as additions and not multiplications?!) and quite blatant plagiarism at times from D.P. Davies' "Handling the Big Jets" (read his book, which was first published in 1967) and wherein you can clearly see Bristow's "explanations" of wing sweep, Dutch Roll and other subjects being copied word for word.
Read both books and you're best placed is what I'm saying! :))

Lots of good stuff, but it seems that the author did not spend much time reading the book !!! I have found several mistakes on it, and I mean technical stuff, like the celsius/fahrenheit formula, ASDA/TODA (balanced field), and so on......so do not use this as your only reference otherwise you may make yourself a fool on some easy subjects.
I have the 2002 version, and I am only writing this because it seems to be the same version still being sold.
Please, have the book fixed Mr. Bristow.
