Review: Follow the River

For a book that I threw across the room only five pages in and vowed never to finish, it was surprisingly awesome! Sometimes you should follow the advice of others, pick the book up again, and see where it leads. Read full review

This is such a good book. I don't know how these two women survived so much. Thank you Larry and Margie Nettle for this book. I could hardly put it down! Read full review

I loved this book and have never forgotten it. Based on a true story it draws you in from the first line to the last. Highly recommended. Read full review

I liked this book. I liked referring to the map as I was reading since I am somewhat familiar with the area. I can't imagine traveling the route with food, coats, water and good walking shoes let alone do it barefoot, no food and only the clothes you start with. Read full review

Graphic. Heart-breaking. Unforgettable. But not especially well-written. It frustrates me to read "true stories" that are mostly conjecture. Glad to have read it but it was not enjoyable and I'm left craving some empty calorie chick lit to get the images out of my mind. Read full review
