The true story of three men who take very different paths in life, yet whose single fate draws them together in the trial that sends John Gotti to prison for life, Dead Ringer is based entirely on fact, and is an insider's account of one of the most important and well-publicized drug cases in U.S. history. This book will need to be read slowly as the authors will jump quickly from Cuffaro to Fraley, and then use flashbacks within their lives. So many characters are being introduced and followed. Use the Cast of Characters at the back of the book for a guide and it will help. Quoting conversations by the primaries make the book come to life.
