About the author (2006)

Ari Hakkarainen has been working for over 20 years in the high-tech industry and the last two years he’s been running an online publication called Avec Mobile (http://www.avecmobile.com/). It provides practical advice about mobile devices to consumers who want to learn how to use and choose camera phones, smartphones, digital cameras, MP3 players, portable media players, GPS navigators and related software. Ari has written most of the material published on Avec Mobile. The visitor/reader statistics have given him valuable insight on what kind of information people are looking for and what they like to read – much of which will be provided in this book.
