About the author (1989)

Dale Concannon is a former PGA professional who began writing about golf in the mid-1980s and is a regular contributor to many international golf magazines. His other books include "Driven: The Definitive Biography of Nick Fald"o, which reached the "Sunday Times" bestseller list. "The Ryder Cup," "Golf: The Early Days, The Round of My Life," and "Extreme Golf," A keen collector of golf artifacts, he currently owns one of the finest collections of early golf photography in the world.
