Good referenceUser Review - Overstock.com
I have a spot in my Arizona yard where nothing grows and is very rocky. I got the inspiration one day to put in a medicine wheel - and attempt to put in some herbs as well. I found this book to be extremely helpful in establishing the wheel and to put southwest plantings in it. This is a really good how-to, which is what I wanted. Also it reminded me of the amendments that are needed to purify and bless the land (most likely what it needs). I appreciated the reference to the Sedona Long Canyon medicine wheel, which I had visited many times. This book has allowed me to move beyond the mere fact of putting in a pretty garden and making the spot a truly sacred space. Blessings.
