Loved that it had personal essays from songwriters, but most were country and Nashville-based. Understandable as country has AMAZING songwriters, but still could have touched base on other genres. Read full review

Susan Tucker is a songwriter, music publisher, teacher, and writer. She teaches songwriting and creativity workshops for songwriting organizations all across the country. She is the owner of Sage House Music Publishing, the creator, editor, and frequent contributor to The Songwriters Connection Monthly, and author of The Soul of a Writer. She lives in Nashville, Tennessee.
