About the author (1991)

THOMAS L. DOORLEY heads Deloitte Consulting's Global Growth Initiative and provides strategic counsel on growth to leaders of global enterprises. As the founder of Braxton Associates, Deloitte Consulting's rapidly growing global strategy practice, he has dealt with growth first-hand. An internationally accomplished consultant and innovator of growth methodologies, Doorley's work has appeared in the Wall Street Journal, The Economist, and other leading business publications. He is also co-author of Teaming Up for the 90's.

JOHN M. DONOVAN is Deloitte & Touche's global leader of value-based management (VBM) and heads the firm's strategy practice in the mid-western United States. As a leading practitioner in VBM, Donovan has worked with multinational companies around the world. He is co-author of the acclaimed book, The Value Enterprise.
