great story and love the character build up. sometimes the pace of the story gets bogged down with heavy dialogue and over explanation but like Umber's time power, this 'slowing' passes after a few minutes and the story continues as fast pace as ever.
two stories in one - with the journey to the new planet as a stand alone powerful short story on its own.

Definitely an interesting read. Im only in my teens like Rigg but can't use as big of a vocabulary as him but mastered the book in the attempt. He takes you on a thrilling adventure that i will definitely recommend.

As usual great characterization from Card, and an exciting story line. I am enjoying this book and looking forward to where the series will take me.
