Cohen describes the whole research metrology in social science. However, the book is too complicated with its counter arguments of positive and negative opinions of scholars. Yet, it is probably the most useful one to start doing research. Read full review

About the author (2007)

Louis Cohen is Emeritus Professor of Education at Loughborough University. Lawrence Manion was former Principal Lecturer in Music at Didsbury School of Education, Manchester Metropolitan University. Keith Morrison is Professor of Education at the Inter-University Institute of Macau and formerly Senior Lecturer in Education at the University of Durham.
