What a marvellous mind wrote this book, and Life in the Cities as well. Fluid writing and informative on so many levels, Cannon covers so many aspects of the era, includes photographs which we rarely see.We Australians are so often uninformed about our own history, Michael Cannon has done much to redress that. My thanks for incredible depth of work he has done here.DJGray
