Who wrote this and where are you getting your info from regarding Aboriginal surfing?? So much incorrect information in this, tho I can see the intentions are good. Who won two titles? When did Kevin surf for 40 years?? WTF?? Please check your sources and research. You are missing VITAL information and recognition. Who were the first Indigenous coaches in 1993?? Arugh ... !

About the author (2003)

Raised on Western Australia's remote surfing coastline, Mark Thornley has spent most of his life surfing, fishing, windsurfing, and diving. He is the former editor of Waves magazine and writes for magazines including Outdoor Australia, Surf Secrets, Underground Surf, and Inside Sport. He lives in Sydney.

Veda Dante has photographed and documented some of Australia's most spectacular travel destinations. She has written for Australian Style and Outdoor Australia.

Peter Lamborn Wilson is co-author of Green Hermeticism: Alchemy and Ecology (Lindisfarne Books, 2007); and author of ESCAPE FOR THE NINETEENTH CENTURY AND OTHER ESSAYS: FOURIER, MARX PROUDHOM AND NIETZSCHE (Autonomedia, 1998), plus numerous other books and essays. He is a longtime member of the Autonomedia Collective and lives in the Hudson Valley.
