JOHN HARRIS is Associate Professor of Sport Administration at Kent State University, USA where he teaches courses focusing on the socio-cultural aspects of sport. He co-edited (with Andrew Parker) the text Sport and Social Identities (Palgrave Macmillan, 2009).
