About the author (1995)

Lyn Miller-Lachman received her BA in history from Princeton University, an MA in American Studies from Yale University and an MLS from the University of Wisconsi. She was a publisher at Square One Publishers, Madison, Wisconsin, and early in her career taught high school in Brooklyn, New York. She is the recipient of the 1993 Denali Press Award for her contributions to minority publishing.
