The objective of the Common Sense SAT Workbook is simple: To help as many students as possible improve their SAT scores in Reading, Writing, and Math as much as possible. The means to achieving this end are by no means distinctive or original: The study and testing of Latin (prefixes, roots, and suffixes) to improve vocabulary; a complete primer to learn or review the rules of English grammar; and a comprehensive math textbook to learn or review the required operations and skills. For grammar and math, each rule/skill is defined, examplified, followed up by a set of ten relevant problems, then cross-referenced with the eight tests of Official SAT Study Guide, the only available source for real SAT's. If a student makes an effort and learns from his or her mistakes, your SAT scores should naturally and significantly increase. Summarily, the Common Sense SAT Workbook is the gold standard for standardized test preparation.
