DAVID ANNAL is a professional researcher in family history and he is well-respected and very experienced in this field. His company, Lifelines Research, undertakes freelance research into whole family histories for clients. He speaks regularly at family history events and conferences and he is a regular contributor to family history publications as well as being a resident expert on Nick Barratt's Your Family History magazine. David's other books include Getting Started in Family History, Using Birth, Marriage and Death Certificates and Using Census Returns and he co-wrote Census: The Expert Guide with Peter Christian.
