I purchased this book for a friend and was greatly disappointed. The title implies that the book contains "Indian Secrets," which, to me, would include secrets of the medicine of the various birds and their feathers; the healing modalities of various plants and waterfalls; rivers and streams. Additionally, the various types of trees and the benefits, to one's spirit, that each different type was created to be. Instead, it is primarilly a book for hunters and trappers, which neither I nor my friend happen to be. I am of Cherokee and English heritage, so I expected a lot more from this book, and found the title to be both misleading and promising far more than the book delivered. ...
