This is a beautiful collection of winter writing by Jansson - all of her unique perspectives, approaches and voices are on display. Thoroughly enjoyable, easy to pick up and put down and read slowly. It is not as satisfying as The Summer Book, which is, to me, a perfect and stunning book. Read full review
