About the author (2010)

Isaias Doleo Ochoa is a poet, editor, and teacher whose poetry has widely been influenced by William Blake, Robert Louis Stevenson, Robert Burns, Rubén DarÃo, and Pablo Neruda. He holds a B.A. from the University of Costa Rica, where he majored in Spanish Studies. He has been writing for most of his life and has achieved success as an editor, as well as a poet. His English-Spanish and bilingual poems have appeared in a variety of literary publications. Mr. Doleo-Ochoa currently lives and writes in a small town in Costa Rica, where he splits his time among being an editor for a local magazine, teaching Spanish to foreigners, and writing poetry.
