This is a great collection of short stories. The author translated his own works from Malayalam and amazingly retains their original essence.
Some stories are very short, others fairly long - for s
short story - and a few are allegories or extended metaphores. While the allegories stand up in their own special way, the true joy of his work is in the narrations of society, life and characters of the foregone past of his native Kerala.
