This is a story about a past life as communicated to me by my spirit guide, initially through automatic writing thirteen years ago which came as a complete surprise to all involved and more recently through clairvoyance which again, came as a surprise after a period of nine years during which there was no contact.

This story is set in a period of history that is referred to as the Dark Ages and involves a partnership which spans the centuries of time.  It begins in the eighth century when little is known about life in England although it appears to be a relatively peaceful period in a history of tumultuous times.

It is a story about Wulfgand, a Saxon warrior/farmer who was born in Germany and who eventually settled in a small Cornish village and Griselda whom he met there, fell in love with and married.  Griselda's spirit stayed in the land where they lived after she died and was recalled several centuries later by a gentleman practising white witchcraft or pagan rituals on the same land.  This gentleman brought forward the spirits of the earth and so he was brought together with the spirit of Griselda.

My spirit guide today is Wulfgand and I was his wife, Griselda, in our past life.  The gentleman carrying out the pagan practices was Eddie, my husband in this life.

My investigations and research into corroboration of given facts from spirit have been rewarding and have led me to retrace my steps to the village in West Cornwall where I once lived.

This is a story of rebirth, reunion and an intertwining of souls up to the present day.

About the author (2007)

I was born in 1946 and brought up in Surrey where I lived until I was twenty.  My childhood was a happy and carefree one and I particularly loved the primary school "on the green" where my father had also gone to school a generation before.  Grammar school followed and then teachers' training college (which I did not pursue).  I married in 1972 and my love of the countryside took us to rural Norfolk where I worked as a local government officer for thirty years.

My second marriage took place in 1998 and many happy years were spent riding our motorbikes both at home and abroad.  We moved into the converted barns that my husband owned with half an acre of garden where we have lived for the last ten years.  Since taking early retirement, I sold my motorbike and decided to concentrate more on my spiritual interests and now practise Reiki healing, Indian Head Massage and yoga as well as having a keen interest in genealogy, gardening, beekeeping and playing the piano.  I have three step children and five grandchildren who live in different parts of the country who love to visit when they can. The children especially love Henny, my one surviving chicken who has been part of the establishment for seven years and is quite a personality!

During the last ten years, we have enjoyed travelling and realized personal dreams by visiting many faraway places including Nepal, India and New Zealand as well as destinations closer to home.

My family and friends consider me to be level headed and down to earth and I hope that this aspect of my character will be apparent in my writing and recording of details on a subject which some might consider to be the result of an overactive imagination.
