A Picnic in October
Tony thinks itís dumb to have a picnic in October every year. He thinks itís dumb to go all the way to Liberty Island for a birthday, too. Itís too far. And itís too cold. And itís just plain embarrassing. But thatís what he thinks before he helps the lady who canít speak English--and before he begins to understand what the Statue of Liberty means to Grandma.
