About the author (2002)

Heide writes on American popular culture and has served as a consultant on several documentary projects.

Robert Heide and John Gilman are both residents of the tri-state area. They are the authors of many books including "Greenwich Village" and take frequent trips out to New Jersey in a '54 Plymouth Belvedere.
